Arun Kumar Bansal is a distinguished banking professional with over 35 years of experience across treasury, finance, corporate credit, retail banking and enterprise leadership. He brings deep expertise in financial management, investments, risk management, governance and business transformation.

Prior to joining Shivalik, he served as MD & CEO of Paytm Payments Bank and as Executive Director & Head of Treasury at IDBI Bank. During his long tenure at Indian Bank, he held several leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer and Head of Treasury & International Division, and played a key role in capital management, strategic planning and the successful amalgamation of Allahabad Bank with Indian Bank.

At Shivalik, Arun is responsible for Operations, Branch Monitoring, Customer Service and Technology functions, driving operational excellence, service delivery, process strengthening and technology-led transformation across the Bank.

He holds an MBA in Finance & Marketing, is a CAIIB-qualified banker and Certified Financial Planner and has completed a Diploma in Treasury & Risk Management from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance.
